Guests may encounter wildlife, insects, uneven terrain, mud, and changing mountain weather during their stay. While the cabin is professionally treated regularly, mountain properties can occasionally experience stink bugs, Asian lady beetles, spiders, or palmetto bugs—especially during seasonal changes. Please keep doors and screens closed when possible to help prevent insects from entering the cabin. No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the cabin or in any barn, animal, or wooded areas on the property. Evidence of smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning fees. No hunting, discharge of firearms, or use of weapons is permitted anywhere on the property. Outdoor fires are permitted only in the designated fire pit area and are restricted during dry or windy conditions. If you're not sure about conditions, please ask and we will share any current restrictions. The property is intended for rest, relaxation, and enjoying nature. Parties, large gatherings, or disruptive behavior are not permitted. Due to the natural terrain, portions of the property may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. Quiet hours of 11pm-7am are appreciated to preserve the peaceful mountain atmosphere for all guests and neighbors. Sunrise coffee on the porch and stargazing by the fire pit are highly recommended. Bringing your own dry wood for firepit is suggested. Cancellation policy is firm--we recommend purchasing travel insurance.
