Private Guestsuite in Historic Madrid

Tucked on the edge of historic Madrid, this newly renovated space offers the perfect mix of privacy, comfort, and convenience. Enjoy mountain views from nearly every side, relax on your private patio, and take a short walk around the bend to Madrid’s galleries, shops, restaurants, and live music. Completely renovated in July, 2026, this pet-friendly retreat is a peaceful home base for exploring the Turquoise Trail, Santa Fe, and everything northern New Mexico has to offer. The space Relax in your own private lower-level guest suite with a separate entrance and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space includes air conditioning, a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and stove, a private bathroom, a comfortable living area, and dedicated bedroom area with a queen bed. The living room sofa also converts into a comfortable double bed, making the suite just right for two adults and kids. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome. You’ll also have access to a washer and dryer located in the utility room, along with fresh filtered water and ice. The utility room is shared with me, but your suite is completely private with lock and your entrance is separate from the main house. Step outside to your private patio, then take a short walk into the heart of Madrid. Restaurants, galleries, coffee, shopping, and live music are all just minutes away on foot. Whether you’re exploring the Turquoise Trail, visiting Santa Fe, or simply looking for a quiet place to unwind, the suite offers a comfortable home base with easy access to everything the area has to offer. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire lower-level suite, including the bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, living area, and private patio entrance. You’ll also have access to the shared utility room, where you’ll find a washer and dryer, fresh filtered water, and ice. While the utility room is shared with me, your suite is completely private, and you’ll have a lock on your door for added privacy. Parking is available in the open lot next to the house. Other things to note • I live upstairs with my three pups, so you may occasionally hear normal household sounds during the day. • The washer, dryer, filtered water, and ice are located in the shared utility room, which is accessible from your private suite. • Madrid sits at just over 6,000 feet in elevation. If you’re visiting from a lower elevation, be sure to drink plenty of water. • Well-behaved pets are welcome! Just be sure to include them in your reservation and let me know in advance.
