Relaxing quiet escape from a day in the city.

Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The perfect space for two friends or a couple needing to escape a day in the city. Being centrally located you'll enjoy easy access to everything Lawrence & the KC area have to offer. It's a quick 15 min drive to Lawrence or 8-10 for De Soto. Gene's Heartland local grocery- 1/2 mi Arrowhead (GEHA) and Royals Stadiums-38 min Worlds of Fun and Oceans-48 min KC Zoo-39 mi Starlight-38 min Legends-32 min Walmart- Lawrence or KC as close as 13-20 min The space Basement apt with a private entrance and lots of natural light. One bedroom (queen bed) . The space has a kitchenette. There is a full size air hockey table as well as a rowing machine & treadmill. You'll also have access to a screened in porch with a table fire pit. We will share the screen porch but I'll always give it up for guests. If you ask, I have kayaks/oars available to use at Clinton or Lonestar Lake. If you like to garden there is plenty of opportunity as I have a large one :) The trek from curb side parking to the private entrance is by driveway, sidewalks, and stepping stones. Guest access You'll have access to the full basement, but one storage room will be locked. You'll have curb side parking. You'll have shared access to the screened in porch. Other things to note I will be around frequently. Airbnb doesn't have a category of "basement" or "basement apartment", it makes us list places like mine as a "whole home". I just want to make sure that everyone realizes I live and work upstairs. I am a quiet person but I don't expect you to be as quiet as me. Enjoy the air hockey table… it’s so much fun! Quiet time will be between the hours of 11pm and 8am. I have three cameras outside for everyone's safety.
