Sunbeam Studio

Description

Welcome to Sunbeam Studio in the heart of downtown Carnation. Our modern guesthouse combines the warmth of reclaimed wood and natural light to create a cozy, treehouse feel. Walk to locally owned restaurants, bars and coffee shops as well as unique music venues:  Miller's and Remlinger Farms. Just one block to a walk or bike ride on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail leads to Tolt River and Snoqualmie River access as well as to beautiful Tolt-MacDonald Park. The space Our modern and peacefully designed studio is sunlit with large windows. Nestled in a small building behind the main house, you'll have a private entrance to your upstairs retreat. You'll be situated in a comfortable and cozy room with an open layout including a living space, queen size bed, and kitchenette. The kitchenette is well equipped with utensils and dishes and includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee machine. Included are cooking utensils and dishes. Coffee and tea are provided. Sign into the smart TV with your personal account to watch Netflix or other streaming services. The bathroom has a sink, shower, and toilet. Sheets, towels, and blankets are included. There is a small closet and drawer storage for clothing, etc. Fans are provided on request, but our space has no air conditioning. Local guidebooks, maps, and recommendations are also provided. There is free parking for one vehicle on the gravel driveway next to the studio.  We are centrally located in charming downtown Carnation. You'll be just one block from the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, formerly the historic Milwaukee Railroad. Walk the trail to enjoy a concert at nearby Remlinger Farms or to the local disc golf course to play a round. Tennis and pickleball courts, the library, grocery store, shops and restaurants, and a summer Farmer's Market are all within walking distance as well.  We are in a fantastic locale for nature viewing, hiking, mountain biking, paddling and skiing (1 hour drive to Snoqualmie Pass). Just a 15-minute drive to scenic Snoqualmie Falls. A visit to Seattle is 40 minutes away. Guest access The studio is behind the main house and can be easily accessed from the alley. Free parking next to the studio on a gravel driveway. There is a lockbox for easy self-entry. Please note: this unit is upstairs. There are 14 steps to reach the studio.  Also note: Our studio is designed for 1-2 people. It is not suitable for young children due to lack of childproofing and exterior stairs. Other things to note We live in the house next door so feel free to message us with any concerns. Fyi, our tenant lives in the shingled house in front of the studio building. Please respect their privacy. Also, the studio is over a garage (not used for parking) so you may occasionally see one of our family members going in/out of it to grab something. We also have a dog, Agate, who you might see on the property. She loves to bark but is friendly. Though we don't have a washer/dryer available for guests, there is a nice laundromat 1/2 mile away in downtown Carnation. If you would like to book a stay and dates look reserved, please contact us.
