Little Blue - private pond on 40 wooded acres

Unplug and unwind at Wildwoods Retreat. This adorable, all electric, 400 square foot tiny home comes complete with a fully furnished kitchen, laundry and bathroom combo, and convertible bedroom. Enjoy a cozy evening in or explore the retreat’s 40 acres of woods and 2-acre private pond with activities including: - Kayaking - Catch and release fishing - Birdwatching - Relaxing in the hammock on the porch - Hiking the trails - Enjoying a picnic or bonfire - Yoga - Reading or board games The space PARKING: Park in the shed carport, gravel parking area next to house, or driveway. If you’re bringing a camper or boat, you may park them directly ahead of you upon entering in the driveway to the pond for easy exit. CHECK-IN: Self check-in with door keypad or lockbox upon arrival. TINY HOUSE: - Front living space: Fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) with oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Sitting area with game table. - Convertible bedroom: Murphy bed with built-ins containing cleaning supplies and entertainment (books, games, yoga mat, hammock, etc.). Sliding door to the porch gives the room lots of natural light making it great for a morning yoga session! - Bathroom: Luggage storage, washer, dryer, and basic amenities provided. - Backyard: Porch with hammock stand and bench for enjoying nature. Backyard fenced for large animals and picnic tables. Compost box located along west fenceline for any food waste (note: no dairy or meat). - Shed carport: Guests may park in the carport. Blue bin for bagged garbage. Green Egg (charcoal only) grill available for use. Guests will not have access to the storage shed. PROPERTY: - Woods: 40 acres of woods with trails and private pond. During hunting season, we recommend wearing the provided hi-vis vests for safety when wandering the woods. Please, NO HUNTING on the property. - Camping: While camping in the woods is permitted (bring your own tent or camper), please observe safe camping practices (secure food, do not interact with wildlife, watch for poison ivy, etc.). - Pond: 2-acre stocked pond with paddle boat and kayaks. Please practice water safety and wear a life jacket. Limited fishing gear for catch and release provided, but we recommend bringing your own. No motorized boats on the pond; there are great places at nearby East Fork Lake you can put in your boat. - Wildlife: Please do not engage with wild animals. Most are out at night or around dawn / dusk. Wildlife sighted on the property include small rodents (squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, opossum, etc.), deer, otters, coyote, bobcat, snakes, turtles, fox, and birds (hawk, owl, woodpecker, turkey, hummingbird, etc.). Guest access Guests have access to all spaces on the property except the inside of the storage shed.
