The Perfect Romantic Bolthole

Town Street Barn is a 300 year old traditional limestone barn that has been converted into a luxury holiday cottage. Situated in the picturesque Peak District village of Brassington, it is the perfect retreat for honeymooners, walkers, or anyone looking for a relaxing country break. The space The barn is arranged over two floors. The ground-floor consists of a luxury cinema room with Smart TV, Blu-ray/DVD, giant screen and sound-system. Netflix and Amazon are both accessible if you have an account, and there is a collection of contemporary and classic DVD’s to choose from, making it perfect for cosy nights in. Also on the ground floor is a wet-room with shower and WC, and a utility boot room to store outdoor footwear and coats. There is also washing machine. Heading up to the first floor you will find the lounge/kitchen/diner and the bedroom. The lounge area offers ample seating in front of a wood burner and a TV, the perfect spot to relax after a long day of walking. The dining area has seating for two to enjoy a meal together. The kitchen area comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The bedroom is a lovely light space with a double bed and a luxurious freestanding stone bath. The property has no garden, however there is a bench at the front of the property which has views down the valley and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Guest access There is a private off road parking space for one car. Other things to note Town Street Barn is located in the heart of a traditional working village. We are on a road and surrounded by farms and farmland, meaning there can be tractors and farm machinery operating close by (as well as cows, sheep and farm animals). Whilst this isn't normally a problem for our guests, we want you to have all the information before you arrive - so you know what to expect.
