Your home 443B is the upstairs unit of the "hideaway" house; it is accessible via the outdoor stairs. You have your own dedicated parking space (2 vehicles tandem) and keypad entry. Our Corner is located in a quiet, peaceful, walkable neighborhood (there is a train track nearby; this is not disruptive by any means). We have fast WIFI, ample seating, comfortable beds and linens, USB charge ports in tables, etc., a coffee station, heating/cooling, fans, full kitchens, full baths with bathtubs, and closets/drawers for storage. Catalpa Corner offers 4 thoughtfully furnished, quaint, character-filled, pet-friendly homes in a safe, peaceful neighborhood. Perfect home away from home for traveling professionals/remote workers or any other situation that has you away from home for an extended time. Paws & Retreat is situated in the far back corner of our CatalpaCorner and offers a peaceful, quiet reprieve from the world. It is conveniently located to anything that the world may be calling you to, whether work or play; we are your place to stay. Have a large group (traveling professionals, etc.) inquire about our other homes that may be available on CatalpaCorner for your home away from home together-ish stay:) Your home is turnkey; the only thing you will need to bring is what you're eating/drinking! We provide the following essentials upon check-in and when optional cleaning/restocking is requested: 5 rolls of Toilet Paper 5 trash bags per can 5 dishwasher tabs Refill on dishwasher rinse aid if needed 1 Roll of paper towels Clorox cleaning wipes Window foam cleaner Refill of shampoo/conditioner/body wash (if desired) Refill doggie waste bags Salt/pepper/sugar shaker Olive oil dispenser Your home 443A is the downstairs unit of the "hideaway" house, featuring a dedicated parking space, a cute little front porch with a table & chairs, and keypad entry. This home is thoughtfully prepared and includes everything you need for a home-away-from-home stay: a dedicated workspace in the bedroom and a full-size bed with a memory foam mattress. Dining table for 4; sleeps 2 comfortably. Pets stay FREE (fully housebroken, well-behaved, leashed when outdoors, crated when unaccompanied). Doggie waste bags provided (YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET; outdoor spaces are shared). Our peaceful neighborhood is walkable, and there are also 2 nice dog parks nearby: Springfield Dog Park at Rothchild Park. Address: 601 Helmer Rd N, Springfield, MI 49037. Distance & Travel Time: ~1 mile north of Avenue C (3-minute drive). Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily Home Run Dog Park Address: 800 E Roosevelt Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49017. Distance & Travel Time: ~3.6 miles southeast (about an 8-minute drive). Hours: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday–Friday), 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Saturday–Sunday) Comfortable bed/seating, fast WIFI, smart TV, blackout bedroom curtains, walk-in closet space, USB charging ports, air conditioning/heat, full kitchen & dining area with essentials/pantry for storage, full bath with bathtub. Guest access Guests have a designated parking space directly in front of the outdoor staircase leading to the upstairs unit (see photos). Once inside, you have access to the entire upstairs home. There is a large storage closet off the living room and a closet in the bedroom. A step stool is provided (under the coffee spot) for cabinets that might be a tip toe to high for some of us 🤣 ***Outdoor spaces are shared*** There is a reserved parking sign 443A for guests staying at this location (see additional photos) You have access to the entire grounds of the property (ensure you are cleaning up after your pets). There is a trash receptacle provided next to your parking area. Other things to note When booking for monthly stays, Airbnb considers 28 days to be a month as far as the monthly discount is concerned. They will charge for the first 28 days up front and then every 28 days going forward. When choosing Catalpa Corner as your home away from home, we offer you ***OPTIONAL*** cleaning/Bedding-Towels swap/restacking of listed essentials: 1 bed $50, 2 beds $70. Use this option as little or as much as you would like.
