The Zome Away From Home is a cabin in the woods with a twist of luxe geometric flair. This off-grid retreat features floor to skylight windows to view both the beauty outside and the stunning architecture within. Soak in the deep couples soaking tub just in front of the window to view the wildlife in the day or starry sky at night. Curl up by the fireplace to read a good book while enjoying some tunes on the provided vinyl record player. Whether inside or out, this stay is unique to any other. The space Simply Sol Farm is a beautiful 25 acre property with multiple serene biospheres and unique areas. An ever flowing creek runs right down the center, separating our 4 acre medicinal herb farm from the 10-15 acres of forest, meadow and orchards, each offering fairy/hobbit like magic, especially when the flowers are blooming in the spring and summer. There are simple paths through all of the unique spaces as well as an expansive biodiverse farm and greenhouse to tour. Feel free to ask if you'd like to lend a hand planting, harvesting or enjoying some of our home grown fruits and vegetables. Our property is only 5 minutes away from the Molalla River where there is abundant recreational area including swimming, hiking, cycling and more. We are also surrounded by wineries within 20-30 minutes in any direction and only 45 minutes from the popular South East Portland featuring world renowned food drinks and entertainment. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the entirety of the property at their leisure. WE ask that you maintain a respectful distance away from any other dwellings or lodgings on the property and only enter other buildings with express permission or chaperone. Growing areas inside fences are also off limits unless given permission or on a farm tour with a property owner or resident. Other things to note As a working farm, we have many things to offer our guests in addition to a relaxing retreat. If any of the plants we grow interest you during your stay, simply ask us to sample our offerings. We'd be happy to show you around. Please be aware that each season on our property offers a different, unique experience based on that time. The spring and early summer are lush and floral, whereas late summer and early fall are hot, drier, but abundant in fruit and fully mature plant life. Late fall and winter bring moisture and the perfect snuggly weather. We are sure to carry specific items to make your stay the most comfortable during each season, but please plan accordingly.
