The Stables in a brand new converted barn located adjacent to Startforth Hall. The cottage is set back along a drive from the quiet village of Startforth, half a mile walk from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. Extremely spacious and comfortable, fitted with all modern furnishings and underfloor heating while retaining some historical features. The property has private parking and private outside seating area. The space A large open plan kitchen, dining and living area on the ground floor. Own front door over looking a newly landscaped garden and trees. There is a large bedroom with a very comfy super-king bed with Egyptian cotton bed linen. An ensuite bathroom with both a bath and shower. There is a patio for enjoying the evening sunshine. There are plenty of beautiful walks on the doorstep and it's only a 5 minute walk across the footbridge in to Barnard Castle. Guest access There is 50 metre driving way out of the centre of the village just beyond the church. Drive up this and there is parking situated just in front of the cottage. Your host will either meet you or arrange a suitable location to leave the key if they are away.
