A lovely two-person, jetted tub (aka hot tub) located in the upstairs main bedroom offers a private sanctuary after an afternoon of beach-combing. The open-style kitchen, dining, and living area is the perfect space to cook meals, watch the tide come in, and play a few rounds of cards together. Relax by the outdoor fire pit while watching the sunset, the colors are stunning. The two-lane road that lies in front of Water's Edge is no deterrent to the abundance of waterfowl that can be seen at any time of the day. The property is on the mainland, no ferries needed. We have cut two paths in the yard leads back to the wetlands. In springtime, the frogs sing, and, in the Fall, the salmon fishing is less than 1/2 mile away. Kayaking up California or Dakota Creek is short paddle into some of the special ecosystems of the northwest. During this time, we do not plan to interact with our guest for safety purposes. The beautiful waterfowl, the majestic resident bald eagles and blue heron rookery all can be viewed (from inside) with our binoculars and spotting scope.
