The space Our apartments are natural, charming and modernly equipped. Warm wooden floors and lovingly selected materials provide peace and security. The kitchenette offers a fridge, induction cooktop, sometimes a dishwasher, as well as dishes, cutlery and all the important utensils. In summer, our geothermal cooling system ensures a pleasant indoor climate. Heat pump and photovoltaics provide the Storchen with energy in an environmentally friendly way. Our "workshop" (lobby) offers you drinks and small delicacies 24/7 for a fee. The sauna is open every day from 12:00 to 20:00 h. And if you want to end the evening in a particularly nice way, we look forward to pampering you in our restaurant. Our guests appreciate the personal atmosphere, the tranquility and the many loving details. We don't just check anyone in – we welcome friends. We would be happy if you feel like part of the Storchen family during your stay! Guest access With your room card, you can not only open the front door and your room door, but you also have access to our "workshop" (lobby), our bicycle room and our sauna. We are happy to show you everything on site. Other things to note Waldkirch is the perfect base for trips to Freiburg, Basel or nearby Alsace. In just 10 minutes on foot you are in the middle of the untouched Black Forest nature and can discover our beautiful hiking trails. If you are active, it is best to bring your mountain bike or road bike; here you can exert yourself on the slopes. Motorcyclists will also get their money's worth with us!
