We welcome you to Lochow in the heart of the Havelland. Lochow is a small gem in the Brandenburg Nature Park Westhavelland, very close to Rathenow. Just over an hour's drive west of Berlin, you can relax far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Here you are lucky enough to be able to switch off completely, even in the literal sense. If you would like to enjoy the tranquility and observe the flora and fauna, you will find just the right place in this small village with only about 10 inhabitants. The space The space We are pleased that you are interested in our accommodation in Lochow. The Finnhütten have served as vacation homes since the 1980s and were built as a company vacation property for the Jena School of Engineering. From the beginning, we were significantly involved in the construction, maintenance, and care of the vacation complex. Since 2012, we have been running the cabins privately and in the old family tradition. Facilities On a 1600 m² plot, three fully furnished vacation homes (Finnhütte) for four people each invite you to relax. On our fenced property, there is also a ping-pong table, a seesaw and swing for children, a sandbox and plenty of space for children to play. • Living room with cozy sitting and dining area incl. Satellite TV and electric radiator • Open small kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, refrigerator • Loft sleeping area (ATTENTION: steep staircase) with 4 beds, pillows, quilts • Bed linens, towels and dish towels are included • Bathroom (toilet and sink) • a shower in the annex (shared use) • A terrace with lounge chairs/patio chairs • Non-smoking cabins • Pets are not allowed • Free use of rowboats, fire pit and BBQ at your own risk • Family/child friendly • Ping-pong table, swing, sandbox, seesaw on the premises (use at your own risk) • Bookings for groups of contractors/workers are not welcome Those who roam the vast meadows on foot or by bike are more likely to encounter storks, gray herons, cranes, and bustards than people or even cars. Bathing and fishing enthusiasts can pursue their hobbies at the nearby lakes. Our two rowboats are located on Lake Witzker, which can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes. Possible activities include hiking, walking, cycling, fishing, boat trips and swimming. Far away from the hustle and bustle, stress and noise, you can relax wonderfully. The swimming and fishing lake is only 100 meters away. Guest access The key is handed over contactlessly via a key safe.
