The 300 m² building consists of the ground floor: - a living room of more than 70 m² with a pool table, a large screen TV, with a bouquet of channels and free Wi-Fi access in all rooms - a modern and fully equipped kitchen with a table for your family meals - 2 toilets and a laundry room Upstairs are (4 bedrooms): - 1 master suite with its bathroom (shower and bathtub) and toilet - 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds that can be prepared as a double bed - 1 bedroom with 4 single beds that can be prepared as a double bed - 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub - a separate toilet Outside you will find a large terrace with garden furniture, dining table and charcoal BBQ. The terrace offers 180-degree views of the valley, and faces south. Private garden of more than 2000 m². The pool is 9.5 x 5.5 m and has steps. You can park easily in front of the building. Feel free to stroll through the park, you can admire the two turrets (17th century) that framed the old castle (now gone), built by Joseph, Marquis de Neuville in 1883, the chapel where the family ancestors rest, and the current installation of the owners, renovation of the original castle. You will probably have the chance to see deer and other animals in the forest! A treasure hunt on site will allow you to discover how this area worked in a bygone era (discovery of the "fridge" of the time...) Paul Jean trusts the concierge "Ma Normandie est servie" to manage his property. By choosing this accommodation and our concierge service, you will enjoy quality hotel service with the comfort of being at home. Everything is included: linens (sheets, towels, etc.), shower gel & shampoo, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, oil. Guest access You have exclusive access to the whole house and its exteriors. There are no other rentals on the property. The pool (accessible from May to October depending on the weather) is shared only with the owners. Don't hesitate to contact us for opening dates. Other things to note LOCATION & AMENITIES Ideally located in Calvados (2 hours from La Défense), 15 minutes from Camembert, 50 minutes from the beaches of Cabourg and Houlgate, close to tourist places and remarkable sites (1 hour from the landing beaches, Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur). All shops (supermarket open 7 days a week, market, press, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, banks, tobacco, restaurants) are accessible within 1 km in the village of Livarot. Lisieux SNCF station is a 24-minute drive away. Local markets: Livarot on Thursday morning; Camembert on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; St Pierres sur Dives on Monday morning; Trouville: the fish market every day at the fish hall (on-site catering) ACTIVITIES Come and discover the Pays d'Auge, which is full of activities for everyone.
