There you will find both bakeries, an ice cream parlor, the tourist information with the Tönninger Bücherei. Doctors and a pharmacy can also be found in the city center. Right around the corner is also the castle park, which invites you to walk and to various events, such as our traditional ring riding and other nice festivities. Within 10 minutes you can reach our green resort beach where you can find the heated outdoor swimming pool. The Multimar Wattforum in Tönning offers science background and has all the information you can learn about our Wadden Sea. Gastronomically, Tönning has a lot to offer for you about seafood restaurants, an Italian, the vineyard and the Biorestaurant Miiriamar, everything is offered to you. At the nearby ferry dock, you can take interesting ferries directly from Tönning, such as a ride to the seal banks, a ride through the Eidersperrwerk or a fishing ride through the National Park Office. Within 20 minutes you can reach both St. Peter-Ording, with its endless sandy beach, as well as the Theodor-Storm city of Husum, also Heide and Büsum can be reached during this time.
