Søre Nesset Smallholding

Come and stay at a historical smallholding close to Vågåvatnet. The space Søre Nesset is a smallholding that dates back to the 18th century. At this time in Gudbrandsdalen it was common that most of the farms had several smallholdings. Søre Nesset have 9 small buildings, where you will have access to the main house and the bathroom in the barn. The farm is located by the beautiful Vågåvatnet, close to Jotunheimen and Rondane nationalpark, and also mountain pass as Valdresflya, Sognefjellet and Strynefjellet. The main house have water and electricty, and have three rooms; livingroom with a fireplace, small kitchen, coach and a dining table. The other half of the cabin is divided between a room with multiple beds and a bathroom. In May 2020 we were finished with our new bathroom in the barn. Here you will find everything you need; a toilet, sink, shower and bathtub. If you are more than four persons, you will get access to "Eldhuset", which has a double bed. Søre Nesset is located in Vågå close to the border to Lom. Vågåmo (city center of Vågå): 10 km Lom: 20 km Otta: 40 km Besseggen: 55 km Stryn: 150 km Vågå has a lot to offer - both cultural traditions and nature experiences like Gjende and Besseggen. At sumer time in Lom you will find a lot of activities for tourists, like Bakeriet i Lom, Fossheim, Steinsenteret, Norsk Fjellsenter and Lom stave church. There are good conditions for fishing in the Vågå lake. We have a fishing rod that you can borrow. Contact us and we will send you the web site for buying a fishing card.
