Burmis Bed & Bales Shanty

Our cozy Shanty is located on our 9 acre little piece of heaven. We are nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Great views, sightseeing, awesome hiking trails and bike trails. The Historical Frank Slide, 10 minutes away and the spectacular Waterton National Park is 45 minutes away. Or just wanting a quiet, peaceful stop over, we welcome you. The space Our shanty is a 150 square foot building with its own entrance. We built it on part of our 9 acre piece of land. There is a queen bed. It has WIFI, a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and air conditioner. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the comfy bench for two inside, or take in the morning sunrise on the bench, just outside your door. There is no indoor plumbing or heating, but there is a large sink and running hot and cold water outside your door as well as a hot shower, in our newly built wash house. There is your own newly built outdoor toilet just behind your shanty. Guest access When you arrive you can park in front of the building to your left with the sign Shanty on it. Our very friendly dog, Moe will more than likely greet you when you arrive. You are more than welcome to walk around the grounds. We have horses, which you can visit, but please stay outside the fence. There is a lock box with a code for the key, which I will send you the day you check in. Other things to note Our place is a nice and unique stop over for guests travelling and for people camping and would like a dry warm place for the night.
