Gulf-View Home | Dock, Kayaks, Sleeps 10, Pets
Description
Watch dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles from your own dock. We sit near the mouth of the canal, so you reach the open Gulf in minutes — on any tide, with no boat lift to cross like much of Hernando Beach. Sleeps 10 in 3 bedrooms. Paddle the mangroves on our 3 kayaks, then grill at sunset. 2 clamshell daybeds, fully stocked kitchen. Three outdoor living areas, upstairs and down, including a screened-in porch. Small dogs welcome (note at booking). 5 minute drive to the Weeki Wachee River. The space A day here Coffee on the screened porch as the canal wakes up. Kayaks out to the mangroves before it heats up. Fresh fish or the grill in the afternoon, then the clamshell daybeds and a Gulf sunset to close it out. That's a normal day. The layout Sleeping — up to 10: Bedroom 1: King + en-suite full bath (master) Bedroom 2: Queen Bedroom 3: Two bunk sets — sleeps 4 Living room: Queen sofa bed Baths: master full, a second guest full, and a half bath downstairs (2.5 total). Three outdoor living areas: Screened-in covered porch (upstairs) — smart TV and seating for the whole group Open balcony (upstairs) — two large clamshell daybeds and Gulf views Downstairs covered area — 2 hammocks, 3 kayaks, Darts, plenty of seating, propane grill (propane included), and a fridge for drinks; half bath down here too What makes this spot different Here's what most visitors don't learn until after they book: half of Hernando Beach reaches the Gulf only by crossing a boat lift and timing the tide — get it wrong and you're idling 30+ minutes or waiting on the water to move. We sit near the mouth of a direct-access canal, so you skip all of it. Quick ride, any tide, open water in minutes — then dolphins and manatees off your own dock on the way back. Bring your own boat or rent one five minutes away. Not a boater? Paddle to the Gulf on one of our 3 kayaks and drift the mangroves, where sea turtles and stingrays are regular company. Included in every stay On the water ✓ 3 kayaks ✓ Life jackets in various sizes (see photos) Outdoor living ✓ 2 hammocks ✓ 2 large clamshell daybeds ✓ Propane grill (propane included) ✓ Dart Board with Darts Inside ✓ Fully stocked kitchen — spices, cooking essentials, bakeware, glassware, toddler utensils, Keurig and Mr. Coffee ✓ Coffee station (K-cups, sugar, creamer included) ✓ Washer & dryer (detergent and bleach included) Guest access You have the entire home and property to yourself — no shared spaces, no host on-site. Yours for the whole stay: • Private dock and all three outdoor living areas — screened porch, balcony, downstairs lounge • 3 kayaks, life jackets, hammocks, and the propane grill, all ready to go • Driveway parking for up to 4 vehicles, with room for a boat trailer Getting in: Self check-in with a keypad code — arrive on your own schedule, no meetups, no waiting. We send the code and directions before you arrive. On the water: The dock is yours the entire trip. Launch the kayaks straight from the backyard into the mangroves, or bring your own boat — you've got direct Gulf access with no boat lift to cross and no tide to time, so you're in open water in minutes. No boat? There's a rental five minutes away. Good to know: The kitchen is fully stocked and laundry is on-site, so you can pack light. We're pet-friendly for small dogs (just note it at booking), and the Weeki Wachee River is a 5-minute drive when you want to see manatees. Message us anytime during your stay — we respond fast and know this area inside and out. Other things to note Before you book — a few notes: • The view: We're near the mouth of a direct-access canal, so you look down the canal to where it opens into the Gulf — real water views, and open water in minutes by boat or kayak. It's a canal-front setting, not a beachfront one. • Pets: Small dogs welcome — please note it at booking. No other pets, and we can't accommodate dogs that aren't disclosed ahead of time. • The water: The dock is on a canal, not a swimming beach. Kids and non-swimmers should be supervised near the dock and on kayaks — life jackets in various sizes are provided. • Stairs: This is a multi-level home with outdoor stairs between the upstairs living areas and the downstairs lounge/dock. Worth knowing if anyone in your group has mobility limits. Getting settled: • Self check-in with a keypad; check-in after 4 PM, checkout by 10 AM • Driveway parking for 4 vehicles, plus room for a boat trailer • Fully stocked kitchen and on-site laundry — pack light • No boat needed to enjoy the water: kayaks, dock, and hammocks are all here; boat rentals are 5 minutes away What's nearby: Eat & drink • Tropical Grille tiki bar, Brian's Place, The Lazy Lizard — 5 min • Upper Deck, down Shoal Line — 7 min; Weeki Wachee river views, manatees turn up On the water • Weeki Wachee River & State Park — 10 mi
