Holiday in the wildlife park of Occitania, southern France

The original stone house in Mons la Trivalle in the Caroux mountains, Naturpark des Haut-Languedoc, is a great base for many natural experiences and relaxing days on the southern outskirts of the village with mountain views. In the house "volets rouges" there is a kitchen with a balcony shaded by an ash tree and a small bedroom. On the ground floor there is a second bedroom and the bathroom. Other things to note The cottage "volets rouges" is located on the southern edge of the picturesque village of La Coste. From there you start directly to beautiful hikes to the about 1000 meter high Caroux mountains, to the "pools", the Gorge d'Héric's gumps (15 minutes) or to the river Orb, where you can swim or paddle. A 75 kilometer long, flat bike route through the Orbtal on a former train route, also invites you to tours. Donkey and horse riding is possible, but of course also daily chill around the house. The nearest (organic)shop is about 1.5 kilometers away, and the closest Intermarché is about 15 kilometers.
