Cozy Business Travelers Haven
Cozy, newly renovated resting spot for business travelers. This place just underwent a complete renovation and ready for it's first guests who arrived in February, 2019. Renovations included wall removal to open up some more space. Refinished oak wood flooring in living room and bedrooms. New flooring, wall tile, and tub surround in bathroom. New Kitchen flooring, counter tops, and sink. New windows and front door and paint throughout the house as well as a new front deck. This place was prepared with the business traveler in mind. It is newly renovated, clean, and located in a friendly part of town. There is a handy bar area that can be used as a eating place or a computer work area. Hi speed internet and Cable TV are provided as well as a washer and dryer. If you are sharing the unit with a co-worker, a nice feature is that there is a private sink in each bedroom to help cut down on traffic in the bathroom. The place has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. There is a deck to relax on and also a laundry area in the basement for your use. The owners live 20 miles away and will have very limited interaction unless there is a problem. They are always available to answer questions or if needed for anything. Columbus is a great town with lots of friendly people, a good selection of Churches, a Walmart and 2 large grocery stores. This place is located in the southern portion of the town which is part of the original city of Columbus. It is near the downtown area. There is easy access to the manufacturing plants and shopping areas by way of the new viaduct There is also a big park and pool for the kids close by. RESTAURANTS: Downtown is Dusters and picket fence. Both are great choices. El mezcal has great Mexican food and Husker House has good steaks and for you history buffs, Glurs tavern is the oldest bar in NEBRASKA. Happy eating. Columbus‘s population is approximately 20,000 therefore transportation is quite limited. There is a shuttle bus service and taxi service. There is a pull out sleeper in the couch if needed. This place is a "duplex" which is two residences under one roof but are completely separated. There is a garage in between the two that is used exclusively for storage by both sides. The driveway is shared with the tenant on the other side who is a full-time resident.
