Bring your walking shoes to enjoy the water views of this neighborhood or a short drive to Titlow Beach, Tacoma Narrows Bridge (to Gig Harbor), Point Ruston, Proctor District, University of Puget Sound, and just 35 miles to Seattle and 15 miles to JBLM military base. It’s time to relax and enjoy your stay! No Laundry The space Enjoy a quiet escape in the center of Tacoma’s hustle and bustle. Located in the heart of it all near University Place, Fircrest and Gig Harbor communities, this is the perfect getaway for a couple, a quiet retreat, or just extra space as an alternative to a hotel in Tacoma. Guests will love this Puget Sound oasis with all the perks of a PNW vacation without the crowds or price! The Tiny House is located on our property but with it's own parking and deck. Note: we no longer offer robes as referenced in some reviews. Restaurants, coffee shops and stores are within a mile, with Titlow Beach, Point Ruston, Proctor District and Point Defiance Zoo just a quick 1-2 mile drive away. Or if you feel like staying in, you can just curl up and enjoy the complimentary wine. The Tiny House is strictly SMOKE FREE. SPECIAL NOTE: The Tiny House was originally located in Steilacoom and has now moved to Tacoma in January 2020. It is no longer in easy walking distance to the beach as referenced in some reviews. (However Titlow Beach is only 2.1 miles away!)
