The kitchen is well-equipped with quality appliances, including a Range master cooker. The living room features a large comfortable sofa, flat-screen TV, books, and games. All bedrooms offer comfortable beds, fans or aircon, and built-in wardrobes. Every window has quality mosquito netting and fabulous views. The space A very private garden and patio surround the house, providing lots of lovely shaded areas for relaxing and outdoor dining. This lovely country house—originally an old farm cottage on a lemon farm estate—is set within the grounds of Los Almeces, an inspiring and uplifting place that leaves a warm and lasting impression on everyone who visits. Situated in the heart of the beautiful and fertile Guadalhorce Valley, in a slightly elevated position, it enjoys 360 degrees of breathtaking views. Take in the distant hills and mountains, huge open skies, and the green valley of lemon and orange trees below, with the castle of Álora perched on its hill in the distance and El Chorro beyond. To watch the setting sun from here is peacefully mesmerising and perfect for sundowners. The house can very comfortably accommodate 8 people. If you are a larger group, we can offer further glamping accommodation for up to 2 more people in our lovely converted horse trailer bedroom in the garden close to the pool, which can be rented for an additional cost. It features a comfortable double bed, air conditioning, an outdoor eco-bathroom, and a terrace and seating area with fabulous views. Guest access There are many different things for guests to experience within the grounds of Los Almeces. As well as the stunning, large swimming pool with its fabulous views, fantastic pool bar, and lots of pretty areas around it for relaxing, dining, and sunbathing, there is also a wonderful sports, games, and fitness area for guests to have full use of. This includes a multi-sport, astro-turf football pitch, a trampoline, basketball, table tennis, boules, and yoga mats. Having run many wellness retreats at Los Almeces, we have a dedicated treatment area within the property. With advance notice, we are delighted to arrange a variety of relaxing experiences for you with wonderful and trusted local therapists. You can treat yourself to a nourishing, therapeutic massage, a refreshing facial, or pampering manicures and pedicures. You can also enjoy private yoga classes, breathwork, and movement sessions tailored to your pace, allowing you to fully unwind and absorb the peaceful energy of the grounds. Other things to note We have carefully considered the air conditioning and ventilation in our home to ensure a healthy, comfortable stay. Our property is a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse featuring classic, extra-thick walls built specifically to naturally repel the summer heat. To keep the indoor climate fresh and healthy, we prefer a natural cooling approach rather than full-house air conditioning.
