Romantic guesthouse center of the country + sauna

Romantic guesthouse in an old coach house, with private sauna. In our backyard, between fruit trees. We look forward welcoming you to our home! Typical Dutch village Tricht lies in the country center- easy access to main cities by train. Amsterdam/The Hague/Rotterdam about one hour by train! Close to Den Bosch (15 min) & Utrecht (25 min). Excellent biking (bikes available!), hiking canoeing and swimming options. And after an active day relax in your private sauna :) The space You will enter at the old coachhouse. Standing against the wall you will find our selfmade closet of authentic 50 years old apple crates. You can relax in the comfortable couch reading a book, and the two French doors give a free view towards the garden and the centuries old brick wall that borders it. The fireplace (see below) on the wall makes it a really cosy place to be. In the (retro)kitchen you will find all necessary tools too make yourself a delicious meal. Do you need an specific cooking equipment? As cooking is a hobby we are happy to lend you any specifics. The pipes in the ceiling, the concrete look floor and the vintage brick wall gives our guesthouse a industrial/countrystyle atmosphere. On the first floor you will find a romantic bedroom with a queen size bed, a comfortable bathroom with shower and toilet and a private sauna (adds € 30, see below). The coach house is located in our large backyard, from which you have a stunning view on the 14th century church. In our backyard we grow apples, pears, prumes, berries and walnuts (picking allowed :)). Dream away while laying in the hammock, or simply relax in the veranda or on your terrace. You are welcome use the bbq to prepare a meal - just ask :). Children can make use of all available toys (trampoline, slide, bicycles) in the garden and more is available upon request. In summer, we have a (large) put up swimmingpool for the children (550x300x125 cm), but adults can make use of it as well of course! We would be pleased to rent you two (electric) bicycles to make a beautiful tour through the surrounding area, which is famous for its fruit growing. You'll find cherries, apples, pears, prumes, strawberreis and other berries etc. A third person can make use of the cosy 'bedstead' and an extra baby bed can be put up in the master bedroom. If you prefer to sleep in two seperate beds with two persons we would be pleased to make up the additional bed for an extra charge of 15 euros. Also note that although the 'bedstead' is in a separate space, there is no room for other items. Please take a look at the picture :). Sauna: The costs of the sauna (per use and max 4 hrs) are 30 euros, including extra (large) towels, sauna oil. Please feel free to make use of our outdoor shower (except in Winter), a special experience! (Electric) Bicycles: Two electric bicycles are available at 20 per bicycle per day or 40 euros for three days. To normal bicycles are available at 12,5 euro per bicycle per day or 25 euros for three days. You can make use of our normal bicycles for short rides (groceries) for free. Also we have two canoes for rent. Fireplace: The fireplace works on ethanol. You get a first starter from us. Additional ethanol can be bought in different stores or you can buy a 1 liter bottle from us for 5 euros (at cost price). Breakfast and/or take potluck: One of my hobbies is to bake bread, for which I use walnuts from our own garden and flower grained by the old mill 'Hope' in Geldermalsen. For just 12,5 euros pp it would be my pleasure to provide you with a delicious home made and unique breakfast, that includes authentic products and items from our own garden - just read the reviews - you will not regret it :). And in case you do not feel like cooking please do ask if you can take potluck. Guest access The coach house will be yours and we will share the garden (large enough:)). Feel at home! Other things to note We have two little childeren. And they like to run around and to be enthousiastic :).
