There is nothing like listening to the Lake MI waves crash on the shore. It will mesmerize you, lull you to sleep or invigorate you to swim in the surf! This is the view from your private balcony in this very well-built Lindal home north of Manistee MI. The outer deck is a shared space with the hosts and sits just above the water's edge. Enjoy a glass of wine, chat with your hosts, watch the sunset and stay to star-gaze. This lovely setting is fabulous. You will want to return again and again! The space The whole SECOND level of our home with private entrance. (The First floor is owner-occupied). This is a BnB. There is NO kitchen. This is the second level of the house with 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, full bath and large deck overlooking Lake MI. The main room on the second level is a very large room with King bed and Double bed, plus a rocking chair to read, relax and enjoy the fabulous Lake MI view from the 4 Panel Sliding Glass Doors, which open up to a private deck with patio chairs and table. There are 2 other rooms on the 2nd level, one smaller bedroom with Dbl bed and one sitting room with 2 Lazyboys, Mr Coffee 4 cup coffee maker, a toaster and mini fridge, both on the streetside, sharing another large deck. Please note: there are NO cooking facilities. We do, however have a gas grill and a new Blackstone with all the bbq tools on the lower deck if you prefer to grill while enjoying the sun and surf. THIS IS A SMOKE-FREE HOME AND PROPERTY. PLEASE, NO SMOKING ON PREMISES. Guest access The 2nd level has 1 other smaller bedroom on the roadside with walk-out deck, and also a sitting room with Mr Coffee maker, television, apartment- sized fridge, microwave, toaster and walk-out deck access. The main large bedroom is on the lake side with 2 beds. The guest suite entry is separate and private from the main level of the house. Other things to note Lake MI levels have lowered significantly in the last few years and we have glorious abundant beach this year! There are still some exposed boulders, some driftwood and debris from the high water, however, after the winter, a lot of it has been covered with sand again. We still have the plank board to access the beach from the steps. There is an awesome outer deck, which is a shared space, that sits just above the water's edge for everyone to enjoy for soaking up the sun, star-gazing and breathing in the fresh northern MI air. * NEW last summer (2024) We added an outdoor shower adjacent to the steps leading up to the guest suite (on the backside of the garage). Convenient to rinse off the beach sand before heading upstairs!
