You'll also find some of Shropshire's most spectacular walking routes on your doorstep, including Carding Mill Valley, the Long Mynd, and countless scenic trails waiting to be discovered. Inside, the cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to provide modern comfort while retaining its welcoming character. The property features three spacious double bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or couples travelling together. We're delighted to welcome well-behaved four-legged friends too, because we know adventures are even better when shared with your dog. We simply ask that muddy paws are cleaned before entering the property, and that dogs remain downstairs and off the furniture to help us keep the cottage in excellent condition for all our guests. Parking One private parking space is available directly in front of the cottage. Additional free on-street parking is available nearby, subject to availability. We look forward to welcoming you for a memorable stay in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property throughout their stay. One set of keys for both the front and back doors is stored securely in the lockbox located at the front of the property. The lockbox code will be provided approximately 24 hours before your arrival, along with your check-in instructions. For the security of the property, we kindly ask that you: Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked whenever you leave the cottage. Return the keys to the lockbox when checking out or whenever requested. Scramble or change the lockbox code after closing it to help keep the keys secure. While there isn't a canoe hire company based in Church Stretton itself, there are excellent canoeing and kayaking opportunities nearby on the River Severn around Shrewsbury, and on the River Wye near Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. These are both within easy driving distance and make a fantastic day out.
