Inside the cabin you'll have two upstairs bedrooms plus a bonus den with a queen sleeper sofa (which has a feather top mattress). This home comfortably sleeps 7 people. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need from small appliances like a rice cooker, griddle and kitchenaid mixer to the more important extras like a dishwasher and Keurig coffee machine. To keep this mountain home cozy, this cabin has a classic wood burning fireplace and electric heat. It also has a separate mud room with a full sized washer and dryer. Enjoy the great outdoors too! You'll have a private outdoor gas fire pit, spaciousness deck, 6 person SPA (perfect after the slopes or mountain hikes!) and a deluxe treehouse, complete with electricity and a hammock. This home is 4 blocks from the Big Bear Convention Center, which hosts the season long Oktoberfest celebration in the fall and weekly farmers markets during warmer months. During the winter, Snow Play, 0.6 miles away, offers sledding and Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Ski Resorts are only 3.3 and 4.2 miles away. Restaurants, small shops and Hiking trails are within walking distance and multiple grocery stores are less than 2 miles away. This is a great cabin to get away from it all but still be close enough to anything you need. Other things to note We have one single outdoor camera facing the driveway. This helps us see snow conditions, if driveway plowing is needed, trash situation and perimeter gate status. Backyard, front yard and all indoor areas are not monitored.
