Description
Stay at a quiet cabin in the woods this summer! Rustic 8 sided cabin close to attractions of the Olympic Peninsula. Centrally located for visits to the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, beaches, hikes, local wineries and organic farms. Sleeps 2 comfortably, maximum 2. Full kitchen with dishes, cutlery and basic cooking utensils. Wonderful claw foot tub, no shower, bedding and two sets of linens are provided. The space This quiet, unique cabin offers an opportunity to experience a slower pace in a rural environment close to a wide variety of activities. Guests can explore nature, enjoy organic foods and a vibrant arts community nearby. The cabin is across the road from where writer Betty McDonald lived circa 1930 and was the inspiration for her best seller, "The Egg and I". This humorous memoir was later adapted for the Ma and Pa Kettle movies. This is a studio space with comfortable queen bed and memory foam twin bed in the small sleeping loft. The ladder to the loft is straight up and not an easy climb for everyone! The loft is not appropriate for children under 12 and older or disabled adults. Guest access Guests have access to the cabin, parking and immediate surroundings. Other things to note I take pride in cleaning with low impact, natural cleansers & disinfectants. There are a few kitchen & bathroom basics to get started. You will need to bring any other food and personal items. July, August and September - $1560/mo. Includes wifi, electricity, water, and garbage pickup. Will require references, $500 deposit and signed contract. Maximum of 2 people, no pets. Contact me for more information.
