Chalet in a very quiet hamlet, with the sun rising over the bedrooms. Sleeps 2 people. One upstairs bedroom with two 90 cm beds. Another room that can be used as an office. On the ground floor, there is a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, which stays cool in the summer. BUT there is no interior access to go from the ground floor to the upper floor; you have to use the exterior staircase. The space On the ground floor, in a former garage (ceiling height: 1.95 m / 6 ft 4 in), there is a fully equipped kitchen area, a dining area, and a living area with a TV. To access the upstairs, you must pass through the outside area. Upstairs, there is a room with a table, a dresser, and a closet where professionals can work. The bedroom has two 90-cm (35-in) beds, and the bathroom has a sink, a shower, and a toilet. From the balcony, there is a magnificent view of the Comté meadows. Other things to note The hamlet of Lavillat, where the chalet is located (at a higher altitude than the heart of Corveissiat), is 30 minutes from Bourg-en-Bresse, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Lyon and Geneva, and 25 minutes from Oyonnax. In the nearest commune, Thoirette (10 km), you will find all the small shops you need and a small Carrefour Express supermarket, not to not to mention a pharmacy, a post office and a doctor What outings might appeal to you? The Réculée de Corveissiat, a nice half-day hike; the Cize-Bolozon viaduct; the beach of Thoirette and its kayaking opportunities; the village of Treffort-Cuisiat, where shows are held at the castle in the summer season; the tree climbing course and the lake at La Grange du Pin; the Royal Monastery of Brou in Bourg-en-Bresse; the caves and the copper museum in Cerdon; Lake Vouglans with its beach and water sports; the Bonnet silk factory in Jujurieux; Lake Genin (nicknamed Little Canada) as well as Lake Nantua, all within an hour of the chalet.
