Welcome to my beautiful home and wooded property that's perfect for 1 to 4 guests on Harstine Island. Big kitchen, dining area, queen beds with cozy linens, full sized bathroom, towels, toiletries. Writing desks, books games, TV, WiFi. Relax with a view of the forest, birds and wildlife. Front and back decks with patio sets, hammock, umbrella. Walk in the woods or the two waterfront parks on the island. Basic breakfast, coffee, tea, snacks, some condiments and spices are provided. The space If you want a quiet and clean setting, this is the place for you. There are no city noises or lights on this wooded 5 acre property. You will have the whole lower level, 1100 ft.², of the house. No one is in the loft, it is not a shared space, it is just used for storage. One bedroom is 185 sq ft and the other is 200 sq ft, both with large closets, dressers and views of the forest and a private back deck with patio furniture. The well stocked bathroom between both rooms has a large vanity and tub with shower. The gourmet kitchen has almost everything you’d need to make some great meals. I provide coffee, tea, sweeteners, creamer, some spices, condiments, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, instant oatmeal, popcorn, snacks, ice. It's usually very quiet here and you might hear coyotes and barred owls at night. I have a chicken coop with some friendly hens and no roosters. A cooler and ice packs are available to use as well as gas grill. If you have any questions about anything, please don’t hesitate to ask me! Guest access You may come and go as you please. Keyless entry on front door. Other things to note Please note that only legally certified service dogs (no comfort animals) will be allowed to accompany you and you must be able to clean up after it. My place is not set up to accommodate kids under 12. Children over 12 must be counted as a paying guest. I’ll consider 8+ year olds with your prior good reviews, please inquire. Babies who don’t crawl or walk yet are welcome and they’re not counted as an extra paying guest. I don’t provide high chairs, etc. sorry. I do not offer the house or grounds for events, private parties, extra unpaid guests or visitors beyond the limit of who is paid for. If someone is joining you for a period shorter than your stay, you must request to add on to your reservation. I do not offer any other sleeping arrangements other than the two beds and no sleeping on the couch. I have a comfy pad and linens for a flat $10. Housekeeping is available for a low fee for stays longer than a week. Laundry room is available by request only, it is not in the house. Mobile phone service can be spotty, but once you log in to the Internet, you should not have a problem, ATT works without the Wi-Fi. There is a landline for outgoing domestic calls. There is no satellite TV at this time, but both televisions have Roku or AppleTV which are fairly easy to navigate and have Netflix & Pandora. You can login with your own accounts such as Hulu, DirecTV, etc. or use what I have already set up. I do have my business on the property in the next building that is not open to the public, but I do not interact with my guests unless I am invited to. Respecting your privacy and quiet time is my top priority. The deposit that is required to book is completely refundable if no damage to the property or house cleaning beyond what is normal occurs and it is not charged on your card, (it is on hold). I may require cleaning be done every two weeks for long-term stays. Upon check-in I may ask for your government issued ID or passport to make sure that it is indeed you who are staying at the property. Airbnb policy states that you may not book for other people if you will not be staying. You are 100% responsible for all guests staying with you.
