Description
Enjoy the rolling hills as you drive to your retreat at Anchor Farmhouse. Unplug as you hear the birds and the wind rustle through the leaves. A rustic red barn and animal life will greet your days. Relax as you watch the stunning sunsets or sunrises from your wrap-around porch. Settle into your cozy bed, wake up refreshed, and possibly join us for chicken chores. This is a place for the generations to connect and for friends and family to make memories. The space Our beautiful 3-bedroom home, offers sleeping arrangements for 9 people on 6 beds (this includes 1 bed in the upstairs hallway). There is also 1 pack & play crib for baby or toddler (2 can be available if needed). Other than the sectional couch, there are no main floor sleeping arrangements. NEED MORE SPACE? Check out our 2nd Listing on our Farm, which includes Sleeping Arrangements for 6+, including main floor accommodations! Search for "Anchor Hospitality Suite", or click on my host picture / icon to see our other listing. Guest access Your Farmhouse Retreat stay includes approximately 1/2 acre of dedicated space - your front and backyard, driveway, & patio. You are also welcome to explore the outdoor, untilled spaces on our 20 acre property. Please plan to keep all of your vehicles in the driveway next to the farmhouse unless there is discussion for exception. Note: Please be aware that there is an electric fence surrounding 8 acres on the south side of our property that is "on" when cows are in the pasture. If there are no cows, it's inactive. Other things to note We have a female Bernese Mountain dog named Grace! She is dedicated and loving with our family, and is pretty shy around those she doesn't know. If she lets you into her space, you are a dog whisperer.☺️ She loves all the scratches behind the ear and some good belly rubs. With guests around, we generally keep her on a leash attached to our zipline during the day. At night, she is often in her very large enclosed space by our house.
