Ideally situated for the Grange Festival Opera Northington, the Watercress line steam rail trips & other local attractions. Also the historic city of Winchester which is within 10miles. There is a good bus service to Winchester with its station to London,Waterloo. Also to Alton and its station. Alresford has many exciting and wonderful shops. Some lovely delicatessens, several good restaurants and pubs, 2 good local butchers, co-op, small Tesco, green grocer, fish shop and a street market on Thursdays.
