Tiny Cabin on the edge of Daniel Boone National Forest. Ten minutes to Cumberland Falls, fifteen minutes to Grove Marina at Laurel Lake, and ten minutes to hiking trails. Located on 5.5 acres, this beautiful wooded land can offer privacy or room to bring some friends. Designed to be simple, attractive, stylish, and clean, with large windows to bring the outside in for a relaxing environment. Large porch to escape the mosquitoes, fire pit for use to keep warm, and plenty of space to explore. Fully stocked kitchenware for all dining needs. Cell service is spotty so be sure to download the Airbnb app so you can easily check-in with the door code and have the wifi PW on hand. The beach at Laurel lake by the dam is a great spot to swim, hiking is plentiful in Daniel Boone, with Cumberland Falls, Dog Slaughter Falls, and a bit of Sheltowee Trace. I recommend the app AllTrails for easy directions and trail maps. The lake is about a 20 minute drive, trails are less than 10 minutes away. Cumberland Falls about 15 minutes down 90. Sheltowee Trace Outfitters, down the road on 90, offers water activities and other onsite recreation. Food is limited to near the interstate and in the town of Corbin, which have some really good local restaurants. Some of my favorites are The Wrigley, The Root Beer Stand (cash only, closed in the winter), Brooklyn Brothers pizza, and Brown Cow (cash only, closed in the winter). Groceries are located in Corbin at Kroger (on 25, opposite side of interstate 75) and there is a Dollar General on the way in that offers quick meals and some inventory of produce. WiFi can be spotty, so working from this space is not recommended unless that’s what you’re looking for.
