The space The Red Barn at Goadby Marwood is Grade 2 listed with lots of original features; restored brick floors, king post trusses and repaired stable stalls; it has a relaxed and unique feel. Downstairs ceilings are high, doorways wide from it's days stabling horses! The Red Barn has a really well equipped open plan social kitchen, and is furnished in a comfortable and stylish manner. Inside and outside dining tables both seat 10, and the Red Barn works very well for 3 generations couples and families. It is a tranquil special place all year round, and the woodburning stove (logs provided) is a lovely focal point to enjoy chatting and catching up. In summer or winter the hot tub is a great addition, and every morning we test, clean and reset the fire so it is ready for you to enjoy throughout your stay. It is easy to feel close to nature with red kites often circling overhead, owls, pheasants on the lawns, sheep grazing and occasional visits from muntjac deer. Downstairs there is an accessible king size bedroom with a shower room next door. Upstairs there are 2 king size bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms, and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower over. Off this room is a mezzanine with ladder access suitable for children over the age of 8 with two single beds. If someone in your party has accessibility issues please message us for more information. There are games and DVDs, 2 Smart TVs and an upstairs lounge with a wi-fi booster and desk if you need to catch up with the office. We also have a detailed digital guidebook to help you plan your stay with recommendations of activities, places to eat and things to see. The wonderful Wellspring hub has also recently opened (20 minutes walk across rolling fields) offering Pilates and yoga classes and offers an extensive range of treatments and therapies.
