The space The old town of Rossano offers opportunities to visit important sites of Byzantine culture and architecture, in particular churches are worth mentioning (12th century Cathedral., San Marco X sec, Panaghia, Abbey of the Pathirion XI sec.) noble palaces of considerable value and museums: Codex Museum (where the Codex purpureus Rossanensis is kept, which became part of the UNESCO heritage) and Museum of Liquerizia. Guest access The house has independent access for guests. The second room, equipped with its own bathroom, accessed from a common terrace. Other things to note civil, polite, non-smoking guests who are able to respect the house and the restoration work carried out are welcome. There's no Air Conditioning, but fans, no TV, but the radio is. Nice to enjoy the view on the terrace sipping a glass of fresh wine. Alternative to walking along the waterfront, go down to the square to take a granita at the historic Caffè of Piazza Ss. Anargiri or watch a musical show in the ancient cloister of San Bernardino or in the amphitheater. It is worth noting the need to park the car about two hundred meters from the house; however, it is possible to park temporary parking for luggage loading and unloading. The house is reached from the street floor through a staircase of about 25 irregular steps, as in the classic alleys of the historic center, and therefore access can be uncomfortable for those with difficulties or motor disabilities.
