One off-street parking space. 16X SUPER HOST - Only 3 miles to beach, our Encinitas beach-town home offers a quiet master; private bath; bright sun room; outdoor eating, gardens, sunset views in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Beaches & surf spots nearby. Quaint SoCal small-town vibe has restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Nightly rate is for 2 guests/1 bed. Third guest is $25/night extra. The space This is a shared house experience - our guests have a private sun-room which is a wonderful sitting room and dining area. Sleeping areas include the Lotus Room Master Suite and the sunroom. The downstairs bathroom is newly remodeled and private to our guests. We only host one group at a time. Our personal space is upstairs. Everyone shares the kitchen, a great place to gather. This setting is perfect for families and friends. Two dining venues, one indoor and one outdoor offer social and relaxing meal settings. BBQ on the front patio for guest use. Guest access Most of the downstairs is open to our guests including your private sunroom with dining and living areas, an outdoor dining table on the backyard patio and another outdoor sitting area for quiet relaxation. The kitchen is shared with us. We have a safe and quiet neighborhood with a swimming pool, tennis courts and beautiful green belts for walking. The pool will require a key, which we can provide for you as our guests. During your stay We LOVE to hang out in the kitchen while cooking and eating, and this feature has become #1 hallmark in our Airbnb (maybe the loaner surfboards are up there too in popularity). Our shared kitchen has offered the gift of social interaction with our guests of all ages. We do live in the house, occupying the upstairs rooms and sharing the kitchen, but the layout of the house offers lots of privacy for our guests to mingle while we are also present. We love to have others in our home and hope you will come and join us. We have hosted more than 250 families and friend groups from around the world and have learned just how much sharing is the right amount for each group. Other things to note Listing shows that our price is for 2 guests in one bed, but we will allow 3 guests total. The house is not set up for more than 3 adults. An extra fee of $25/person is collected for more than 2 guests. We have a very friendly Australian Shepard. We cannot permit a dog guest at this time. In the pricing there is a 10% management fee, which goes to the city of Encinitas as tourism tax.
