However, the separate entrance and your own terrace allow you to enjoy your privacy undisturbed. Other things to note Please note when booking that the local tax will be automatically collected. According to § 48 Upper Austria Tourism Act 2018 as amended, the nationwide local tax is currently uniformly 2.40 euros per night and per person. Pursuant to § 47 (2), the obligation to pay the local tax is subject to persons who guest accommodation, unless they have their main residence in the municipality. The following are exempt from the local tax obligation according to § 50 Upper Austrian Tourism Act 2018: 1. Persons up to the end of the calendar year in which they turn 15 years of age; 2. Persons who, on the occasion of graduation from a (high) school, an apprenticeship or the military and civilian service; 3. Persons participating in an event of a youth organization and a youth center, youth hostel or youth campsite; 4. Persons who, in the exercise of their profession as a bus driver or tour guide accompanying a tour group and staying overnight free of charge; 5. Persons who have to stay in guest accommodation in the event of a disaster.
