The site is central on the island, with 2 natural pools (one with a large slide and the other with a small slide) and a river with 3 waterfalls and a slide. The space A rustic tropical ranch, a great option for those who want to stay close to the beaches of Ilhabela, in the middle of a green area with a waterfall practically on the balcony, ideal for those seeking contact with nature, peace, tranquility and to recharge their batteries. The site was one of the island's great tourist attractions in the 80s/90s and today we share the old water park exclusively with our guests. The river has three waterfalls. Two of them divide the river into two pools with weak currents most of the time, forming natural pools. The upper bank of the river is spacious, perfect for sunbathing after a swim, and features a large waterslide for adventurers. As the river cuts through the terrain, access to the other side is via a bridge, which leads to trails in the Atlantic Forest. Other attractions of the space include two additional natural pools with a slide: a small and shallow one, ideal for children or for those who just want to wet their feet; and a larger and deeper one, with a long slide. Spread across the land, inside the site, we have 8 independent accommodations, each with exclusive rent: Dog-friendly accommodations: Two-story chalet: overlooking the stars from the queen-size bed, its own barbecue, accommodates up to 2 people. White house: surrounded by a wall, with a yard, pool and barbecue; accommodates up to 6 people. It has 2 en-suites, the first floor with a king-size bed and bathtub overlooking the stars. Large balcony on the first floor with pool table and river gazebo. European chalet: completely wooden, with fireplace, located among our pine forest; accommodates up to 4 people, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Accommodations in the 2-story complex/building (no pets allowed): Cococana Apartment: on two floors; ground floor with kitchen, dining and living room, large balcony overlooking the main part of the river; first floor with suite, king size bed, balcony overlooking the river and bathroom with panoramic bathtub. Max. 2 people. Flat 1 and Flat 2: located on the first floor of the complex, overlooking the river and the stars. Flat 2 is larger, sleeps up to 4 people; Flat 1 sleeps up to 2 people. Flat 3: on the ground floor, overlooking the river, adapted for wheelchairs, baby strollers, etc. Suite: also on the ground floor, more economical price range, with bedroom, bathroom and small balcony at the back of the complex, next to the shared barbecue. Guest access Guests of this listing will have access to all outdoor areas and attractions of the old water park, such as the river area with a waterslide, the natural pools with waterslides, the barbecue grills, the game room, and the trails in the woods across the river. Access to other accommodations and their private areas is only allowed for guests in the same group or with permission/invitation from the person renting. Other things to note We are in the midst of nature, with several species of animals and the natural “dirt” of the forest (leaves, dust from the trees). Colorful birds (parrots, toucans, woodpeckers), butterflies, wild animals and insects are part of the scenery, including spiders that weave their webs from day to night in the outdoor areas. Due to nature, it is not possible to keep the outdoor areas 100% free of dust or leaves, as the wind always brings new debris. We also have the borrachudos, typical of Ilhabela. We recommend using repellent every 30 minutes to better enjoy your stay, both on the property and on the beaches. At night, there are no borrachudos. On the property we have the Dalmatian dogs Zap and the mutt Maia (the caretaker's), our Pomeranian Lulu (Pomi), who stays at home most of the time, and two cats that only stay inside the main house. The waterfalls and the color of the river can vary according to periods of drought or rain, just as the flowers have their flowering seasons. As we rent the space privately, there are no lifeguards or monitors; the use of the attractions is 100% the responsibility of the guests, a rule that must be accepted at the time of booking. The property is away from the street, ensuring peace and quiet. We have only two neighbors: an inn on one side and a family residence on the other. The caretaker and his family live at the entrance, and they are always polite, calm, and ready to help if necessary. The site has a complex/building with 1 apartment, 3 flats and 1 suite, all with independent entrances. One of the flats on the ground floor is adapted for wheelchairs and baby strollers; the two on the first floor have partitions on the balcony that can be connected for groups of up to 6 people. Also, there are 2 cottages and 1 house scattered around the grounds. We have high-speed internet/Wi-Fi (1000 Mbps fiber optic) connected to a UPS (only for the internet), ensuring operation even in the event of a power outage, in addition to a Vivo backup line. Each accommodation has at least one Amazon Alexa Echo Dot (3rd generation) for music and general questions. We provide one bath towel per person and one hand towel. We offer towel changes halfway through the stay, starting at 7 nights. We also provide sheets, pillowcases, pillows and microfiber blankets. **Important:** We do not provide beach towels, water filters, chairs, or umbrellas for outdoor use on the site.
