Welcome to our charming thatched farm house anno 1650. The house is fully detached and situated on an old cheese farm. Recently completely renovated, it has a spacious living, kitchen, 3 bedrooms accommodating up to six persons. Situated along the hiking path 'Grote Polderpad', you can visit wind mills, spot waterbirds, and enjoy the alpaca's at our farm (shearing occurs this weekend). The house is ideally located for day trips to the beach, Leiden, Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Kinderdijk, etc. The space Just finished is the complete renovation. The monumental farm house has plenty of original details such as a thatched roof, special design brick walls, and thick wooden attic beams. With a total area of approximately 100 m2, the house has a spacious living with wood furnace, hall/kitchen, a new bathroom (with shower, washbasin and toilet), and a ground floor bedroom with a double Pullman boxspring. The garden door can be opened to your convenience, so as to hear the birds singing or the breeze through the trees. The attic has two bedrooms with two single beds each. The stairs have been renewed for your convenience. We also installed a washing machine. Guest access The house is fully detached. The garden is partly separated from the main farmhouse, with sufficient privacy and a place to sit outside. For bird lovers: the garden includes a small nature reserve - supply wood island with old ash and willow trees - which will give you the opportunity to spot a variety of special birds (egret, spoonbill, owl, buzzard, woodpecker, etc). For the children, we have a large trampoline that can be used, and there is a basketbal bucket.
