The great room contains a new fully equipped kitchen and unique Adirondack furnishings including a 42 inch flat screen TV and a DVD. There is an electric fireplace for those cool evenings and a propane wall unit to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. The space There is a private deck off of the bedroom and great room The bedroom has a queen size bed and there are 2 cots available in the great room along with a queen size sofa bed. The screened porch and deck are perfect for cozy dinners or bird watching during breakfast. Lakefront amenities include multiple dock platform, 2 kayaks, and swimming area. You can swim to your own private swimming float. Enjoy a campfire and smores in your outdoor fire pit. Guest access There is a life guarded town beach within a short walking distance. There is some local grocery shopping in town and super markets within a 20 minute drive. We are located within 1 hour Lake George and 1:15 from Saratoga Race Track. The Adirondack Museum is located in Blue Mt. Lake 60 minutes away Located about 30 minutes away from Gore Mountain, and only 15 minutes from Oak Mountain, you can enjoy a day of skiing, snowboarding, and tubing and still return to your cozy lakefront cabin in the evening. Multiple trails are available for cross country skiing, and Lapland is just a short distance away. Whether it be swimming, hiking, skiing or just relaxing, you will find whatever you desire for your vacation needs. Other things to note If you love winter sports, this is the place. The home is accessible to miles of snowmobile trails and their is ample parking for your snowmobile trailer. Oak Mountain is 15 minutes north - in the town of Speculator and provides downhill skiing, snowboarding and night tubing! They have a restaurant on site. Gore Mountain is 45 minutes north, a full alpine winter resort! Snowmaking enhances the many trails designed for telemark and downhill skiing and snow boarding. If you prefer Nordic Skiing....Lapland Lake resort is 25 minutes south - providing cross-country skiing. They have a small tubing hill and ice skating for children.
