It is located in a beautiful setting directly on the Berste River, a tributary of the Spree River. The owners operate a small kiosk on the riverbank seasonally and have their own boat dock. You can rent a rowboat or canoe spontaneously (for a fee) to explore the enchanting water labyrinth of the Spreewald. Families with young children visit the castle island with its water playground: In summer, younger guests can cool off under the waterfall or sail as pirates on a real wooden raft.
