Family Guest House Edras - Douro River - 12 people

An old village house, reclaimed with all amenities. With lots of light, large outdoor spaces and a swimming pool in the summer - ideal for families and those who like nature and silence. The house is located in a typical transmontana village - close to the border with Spain - 5.5 km from the city of Miranda do Douro. The Douro River is very close, within walking distance of a short walk. People are still truly genuine. The space The House has views of the village and consists of: On the ground floor - large common areas, a large room with a fireplace and living areas with sofas and tv, a reading and games room with a TV, an equipped kitchen, a dining room and two connecting bedrooms with a bathroom. On the first floor - six en-suite bedrooms with private bathroom and air condition. Outside, large spaces, living areas and pool in summer. Guest access Guest has access to all areas autonomously (en-suite bedrooms, living rooms, kitchen, pool, outdoor areas) (Washing machine access upon request) In summer - employees access the house whenever necessary for maintenance of outdoor spaces, watering and cleaning of the pool. Other things to note Casa dos Edras meets all requirements, procedures, cleaning & sanitizing. Following the current pandemic framework and in order to minimize the contacts of employees with washed / dirty clothes - we inform that the bed and bath linens are made available properly sanitized, being the host that does its handling, namely its placement in the beds / bathrooms. It is mandatory to remove bed / bath linen at the end of the stay and its placement in the indicated place (all according to the indications in the house). - In case of failure of the mobile network and internet / wifi services, these are due to poor coverage for the services contracted due to being a border area. For the above reason, the internet and wifi service is a service offered by the house - it is not included in the value of the stay - any failure related to this service is not imputable to us. - In the summer are totally forbidden by civil protection entities, any activity related to fire, namely barbecues outside. - The House is 5.5 km from the city of Miranda do Douro where you can find: Public transportation, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Commerce, Pharmacy, Health Ctro, Local crafts, among other services, - Very close is the neighbor Spain, we propose a day of tour to the city of Zamora. The village is located in the International Douro Natural Park, so we advise the outdoor tours - you can find free bikes and other utensils in the house.
