Sound Lodge a Quiet Getaway with a Stunning View

The self-contained flat is situated at the North end of the main property, above the garage so please be aware that there is a staircase for easy access as it has its own entrance and hallway. You will have access to our own waterfront & jetty so if you have a kayak or small boat you're welcome to use the facility, the garage can be used for the drying area. The space The flat is very comfortable with stunning elevated views over the Weisdale Voe where sea life is in abundance, We have often sat looking out over the shore watching seals & otters and in 2020 had two Minke whales visit us. We have our own Jetty and shoreline so if you're bringing Kayaks or a small boat you're welcome to use the area as a base. We are trying to be as eco friendly as possible minimising the use of plastics and non-recyclables. A breakfast package for the first morning will be supplied for stays booked for over 3 nights giving you time to acquire your supplies at your leisure. We have a Post office / general store /garage situated 300 metres from the entrance to the drive so you don't have to travel far for those essentials. Shetland offers lots for everyone to do, but it is Shetland and it could be raining one minute and glorious sunshine the next. Please note, the stairs lead straight into the living space and we are unable to put a safety gate so be aware that we don't exclude infants and toddlers but if you do have a small child there is that to consider before booking with us. Guest access We have ample easy parking or if you using public transport there is a bus stop 100 yards from the entrance to our property.
