Villa Gast – Salmagundi in Kamp-Bornhofen in the Middle Rhine Valley sleeps 14 adults + 2 children in 7 bedrooms: 5 double rooms + 2 double rooms with a child’s bed. 5 bathrooms, 2 guest WCs, 3 with level-access showers. Quiet cul-de-sac, 65 m above the Rhine, directly by the forest, with Rhine views and little traffic noise. On request: homemade spelt rolls, welcome stew and free station shuttle. EV charger available. The space Villa Gast – Salmagundi offers approx. 235 m² of space for up to 14 adults + 2 children in 7 separate bedrooms: 5 double bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms with an additional children’s bed. There are 5 full bathrooms as well as 2 additional guest WCs. Most of the accommodation is located on the ground floor and can be reached without steps. 6 of the 7 bedrooms and all 5 bathrooms are on the ground floor. 3 of the 5 bathrooms have step-free walk-in showers. The Grauburgunder bedroom is upstairs and is accessible by stairs. Bedrooms on the ground floor Bordeaux, 14 m² – double bed 180 × 200 cm, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. Riesling, 13 m² – double bed 180 × 200 cm, wardrobe, flat-screen TV and en-suite bathroom with shower and washbasin. Rosé, 9 m² – double bed 160 × 200 cm, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. Toskana, 21 m² – double bed 180 × 200 cm, additional child’s bed 100 × 200 cm, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. A bathroom is directly adjacent. Afrika, 19 m² – double bed 180 × 200 cm, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. MultiKulti, approx. 23 m² – high-quality 160 × 200 cm sleeping arrangement with pocket springs and an 8 cm topper, flat-screen TV and a small separate seating area for 4 people. Part of the second kitchen is also located here, with an additional dishwasher and extra worktop space. Bedroom upstairs Grauburgunder, approx. 20 m² of actual living space – double bed for 2 adults, additional child’s bed, private washbasin and flat-screen TV. The room is upstairs and is accessible by stairs. Bathrooms There are 5 full bathrooms and 2 additional guest toilets: En-suite bathroom in Riesling with shower and washbasin Bathroom by Toskana with toilet, shower and washbasin Bathroom by Afrika with toilet, shower and washbasin Bathroom in the sauna area with toilet, shower and washbasin Bathroom with shower, bathtub and washbasin plus 2 separate guest toilets with washbasins 3 of the 5 bathrooms have step-free walk-in showers. Living and cooking The large shared living and dining area offers plenty of space for the whole group. Amenities include a fireplace, flat-screen TV, Blu-ray player and HiFi system. The main kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven with grill function, microwave, fridge/freezer combination, kettle, coffee machine for whole beans or filter coffee, toaster, hand blender and plenty of crockery and cutlery. MultiKulti also has an additional kitchen area with a second dishwasher and extra worktop space. This helps take the pressure off the main kitchen when the accommodation is fully occupied. Amenities and services Bed linen for €6 per person and towels for €4 per person can be booked as optional extras. Please order them no later than 2 days before arrival and pay on site. Suitable bedding for guests with allergies can be provided on request. For a relaxed arrival, small amounts of coffee filters, sugar, spices, salt and pepper, kitchen roll and toilet paper are provided. A laundry service is available (€5 per wash). A vacuum cleaner, kitchen towels and cleaning products such as washing-up liquid and toilet cleaner are provided. The accommodation also includes a sauna, outdoor seating area and pavilion with garden furniture. Children’s equipment such as a travel cot, high chair, toilet seat and potty is available on request. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the guest area of Villa Gast. Breakfast and homemade rolls Breakfast is available on request for €14.50 per guest. Breakfast is served buffet-style in your holiday apartment. We bake our own rolls and bread using organic spelt and organic rye flour. We also offer a bread and roll service. Please order rolls by 5:00 pm the previous day and bread preferably before arrival. A welcome stew can also be ordered on request. Parking, EV charging and station transfer Up to 7 cars can be parked in the courtyard. A Type 2 charging station is available for electric vehicles. For guests arriving by train, we offer a free pick-up and drop-off service from and to Kamp-Bornhofen railway station. Dogs Up to 2 dogs are allowed. The fee is €60 per dog. If you would like to bring more than 2 dogs, please contact us before booking. Guest access Turn into our driveway directly after the “Villa Gast” sign. Up to 7 parking spaces are available in the courtyard directly at the accommodation. The guest entrance to Salmagundi is step-free. Guests have access to the booked living areas, sauna and outdoor areas. Other things to note Salmagundi is a separate, self-contained guest area. We, the hosts, live in a separate part of the building upstairs. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. From this time onwards, please keep music and other noise to a low indoor volume and be considerate of our neighbours. Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation; designated outdoor areas are available. Dogs must not be left alone in the accommodation and are not allowed upstairs because of the carpeted floors.
