Eco cabin in the beech forest outside Rörum

Cozy eco cottage located in the middle of the beech forest outside Rörum in Österlen; in a secluded location and close to wonderful nature and beach experiences. The cottage is the first chapter of our new construction project "Eternality", where we made with great care sustainable material choices and solutions to bring to life our dream of an inspiring paradise. Now we'd love to let others enjoy this special place that we have the privilege of building up and nurturing! The space Our guest house, which was built in 2011, is a hempaisoled wooden house of 36 sqm that was recently fully renovated. It consists of a larger room with a sleeping area and sofa corner, a bathroom and a kitchen with a small dining area. The cottage has previously been used by ourselves while we built the main residence - a house of straw and clay located a stone's throw away on the same plot. The entire property is "off-grid", with, among other things, water supply from its own drilled well, sewage treatment in the root zone and its own electrical system with solar cells - the only thing we are directly connected to is a fiber wire for the Internet! Wireless network is available in the cabin, but can also be turned off if not desired. The sleeping part has a double bed 160x200cm and a bunk bed 90x200cm, the cutlery bottom and mattress at the top. Reading lights are available for all the beds. A travel bed for small children is also available to fold up if needed. The sofa corner has a generous two-seater sofa, coffee table and a chair, there is also a shelf with pocket books and, if necessary, a small box of toys. The kitchen has a fridge, sink, two gas plates, coffee maker, dishes and other equipment needed to cook and enjoy it. There's also a small table with room for four people. In the bathroom there is a sink with mirror cabinet, bathtub with shower and separating dry toilet. There is a large deck outside with table for 4-6 people, with the possibility of shade from a parasol or plenty of space to enjoy the sun. Adjacent to the terrace there is also a shower area with solar-heated water that is highly recommended for the experience of showering under the open sky, but also to save on the limited hot water inside the cabin. If necessary, heating is done using the cast iron stove in the middle of the large room. Wood from the forest and instructions or assistance for burning is of course included! Just outside the cabin there is a small playground and a BBQ. In the woods around there are some trails and the opportunity to put up hammock and other things that can inspire both play and relaxation! The place is surrounded by "wild" forest environment and it's not uncommon to see and hear the rich wildlife around the clock... Our three house cats move freely in the area and are very social - two of them have previously even lived in the cabin.
