Wake up to coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, spend the day swimming, boating, kayaking, or paddleboarding from your private dock, and unwind in the evening with sunset views and mountain air. The space We call this the Tree House on Watauga Lake since it's in the trees overlooking the lake. The dock offers a boat slip, a swim platform with ladder, and chairs. There are Kayaks, SUPs, Towables, life vests. There are 4 levels of decks to view the lake and sunset. You can see the ridgeline of part of the Appalachian Trail. A few things to note: The road up to the home is single lane, and there is a small turn around at the end, but there is not room for tall vehicles or trailers to get up to the property. 1-4 pickups, SUVs are fine, but nothing larger. There are a lot of stairs - the home is 3 stories, but there are stairs to get to the front door and stairs down to each level and dock. It is a lake and forest - this is nature - you will see wildlife... and while we do monthly pest control, there are bugs. It is remote - Other than Dollar General, grocery stores are 30 minutes away - so plan ahead. We love it, the views and lake are absolutely amazing. Guest access You have use of the full house 3 levels, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. All water toys - kayaks, SUPs, Towable, Lily Pad, life vests, etc are on the lowest level basement accessible from outside on the way down to the dock. The boat slip is open for you - we are on open water and it's a narrow slip, so please be experienced in docking a boat.
