Chettiparambil Heritage: Double Room Kalapera

Welcome to Kalapera, a private heritage room inside our 90+ year-old ancestral compound in Edappally (1.3 km from Lulu Mall). This room was actually my parents' bedroom! We recently convinced them to hand over the keys so travelers could enjoy its authentic Kerala warmth. Features a King bed, private dressing area, attached washroom, and access to courtyard gardens and secure parking. A quiet, green retreat close to the heart of Kochi! The space Kalapera offers a private, comfortable room within our ancestral estate. As a 90+ year-old historic home, we carry out regular upkeep and minor maintenance to keep the compound in prime condition. You may occasionally see team members or craftworkers on-site during normal daytime working hours. Previous guests have enjoyed completely peaceful, seamless stays. Guest access Guests have full private access to the Kalapera room and attached bathroom, along with shared access to the open-air courtyard, garden grounds, and secure on-site parking directly inside the compound. During your stay Self-check-in is our standard procedure for a seamless arrival, but my family and I are at the Tharavadu regularly during the day to manage the property. We love dropping by, meeting our guests, and hearing about your travel journeys! You're always welcome to chat or ask for local recommendations, but we completely respect your privacy whenever you want your own space. Other things to note Pool Access: Pool access is generally reserved for full-compound bookings. However, feel free to ask us upon arrival—if available, pool access can be arranged for an additional fee! Daytime Maintenance: Light upkeep or craftworkers may occasionally be present on the grounds during standard daytime hours.
