Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection. The space Idyllic place at the lake with a lot of space (8000 m2) where the children can play games/football, swim in the lake, fish trouts, row the boat, paddle with the canoe or cayaks, pick fruit and berries. At the lake there is a pavillion where you can enjoy a late snack and a glass of wine in the sunset, or stay dry in the rain. A boat and a canoe are available for free. Two kayaks and a boat engine can be rented. The property lies only 8 km from Tau which is a small center in the community. Tau is connected to Stavanger by the world's longest undersea road tunnel, Ryfylketunnelen, which opened in 2019. The distance 8 km to Jørpeland as well, the main center in the municipality, and only 17 km from the property to Preikestolen parking area. In other words this is a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in the middle of Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes close by. Only 2 km away the path to one of the most spectacular views in Ryfylke, Reinaknuten, starts. The property are southward directed with a 120m shoreline with shallow water and beach which makes it very easy for small children to play and wade in the water. East side of the property there is a free area with a huge lawn and with a small river beside. Very children friendly area. Guest access The guests have access to the entire property. Other things to note We can provide bedlinen for rent for 15 Euro and a set of towels for 7 Euro per person. Please give us information if bedlinen are needed a week prior to arrival so we have time to make the bed. The rent for the bedlinen needs to be paid upon arrival.
