Discover this cute cozy tiny house in Mt Forest, Ontario! The space In the heart of Mennonite country on the western outskirts of Mount Forest amongst hundreds of acres of farm land. No close neighbours. Property has solar panels and is a half an acre in size. This rustic cabin has a tin roof....great to listen to the gentle rain as it falls. Lots of windows to hear the rustle of the poplar trees blowing in the wind, the occasional yipping of coyotes in the distance and song birds in the morning. All materials in the construction of the cabin and outhouse are reclaimed from demolitions (plus momentoes from estates). The 2" thick floor planking came from an old school house, the outhouse door from a church and wall panelling from a local hotel. Located at the back of our property for full privacy. There is a 10' square tented (rainproof and netted) gazebo with wicker furniture, patio table and table top BBQ. Fire pit on patio stones. Nearby are the abandoned RR tracks that go for miles! Great for biking, dog walking and hiking. Two golf courses within 10 miles. Riding stable nearby and fishing in our many streams in the area. Two casinoes in the area. Cot available. Bedding and towels supplied. Bring your own food. Other things to note You MUST BE PROFICIENT in the use of wood fireplaces, propane BBQ'S and candle lanterns. All smokers must take care with disposal and usage of all personal fire related products. Lots of mulch on the ground. Full attention when walking through the forest as the tree roots could pose a tripping hazard. Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it.
