Other things to note In the picturesque village of Ghizzano, there is a historic 19th-century winery, famous for its splendid barrique cellar and for the three exceptional Tuscan reds. The extra virgin olive oil produced here is so delicious that once you taste it, you can't do without it. The 15th-century Italian Garden is another wonder not to be missed. All these attractions can be visited at any time. The Ghizzano estate also offers a unique ANIMAL WATCHING experience. At strategic points, you can observe fallow deer and roe deer emerging from the woods to graze in the clearing. You can spot entire herds, families with calves, pairs, or solitary specimens. If you have a telescope, bring it with you; otherwise, you will be provided with one on the spot.
