Traditional charming farm house, Tjörn

A charming and fully equipped west coast house/farm from 1920, located in the idyllic Rörastrand on the island of Tjörn. Here, you’ll stay close to the sea—just an 8–10 minute walk (or about 2 minutes by car) to the nearest swimming spot. Rörastrand offers something for everyone: a small, child-friendly bay with calm waters (perfect for crab fishing!) as well as wonderful cliff-side swimming from a nearby island. A perfect place for both relaxation and summer adventures by the sea. The space The house is located just 800 meters from the shores of Stigfjorden, beautifully situated between the islands of Tjörn and Orust. The main house (134 sqm) is fully equipped and offers a spacious 25 sqm kitchen that opens into a cozy, enclosed porch with a dining table for 4–6 guests, overlooking the garden. From the kitchen, you step into a bright and inviting living room (25 sqm) with comfortable sofas and a fireplace—perfect for relaxing evenings. On the ground floor, you’ll also find a bathroom with shower and laundry facilities, as well as a master bedroom (16 sqm) with a 140 cm bed. Upstairs, a staircase leads to a large and charming living area (40 sqm), along with two spacious bedrooms—one with a 180 cm bed and the other with two 90 cm beds—both offering lovely views of the garden and surrounding fields. The house is set on a generous 2,500 sqm garden with apple and plum trees, a double hammock strung between the trees and sun loungers for relaxing outdoors. There is also an outdoor dining area with a large Weber grill—perfect for summer meals. Adjacent to the house is a large barn, where you’ll find a table tennis setup for some fun activities. The surrounding area offers beautiful forests, ideal for picking blueberries and mushrooms. Just 800 meters down the country road, you’ll find two swimming spots where you can also enjoy traditional Swedish crab fishing. In nearby Kållekärr (just a 5-minute drive), you’ll find a grocery store, gas station, and pharmacy. The charming coastal village of Skärhamn, about 15 minutes away, offers a larger supermarket, Systembolaget (liquor store), a Museum, as well as a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés.
