Three of the Telegraph’s “600 Best Pubs” are all within a 10-minute drive, perfect for sunny lunches in gardens or a pint after a day exploring Try Winnats Pass, or the Monsal trail. There are several circular walks from just outside our door! Abundance of family fun & we’re always happy to share a curated list of activities to help you plan your stay. The space Can we tempt you with a coffee in the morning sun on the patio? - the perfect way to begin the day… The cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests, with two double bedrooms and one twin room. A travel cot and high chair are also available for families travelling with little ones. At the heart of the home is a large traditional country kitchen, fully equipped for relaxed meals together. In cooler months you can enjoy the warmth of the Aga, while in summer it’s the perfect space for slow breakfasts before a day exploring the countryside. A freestanding cooker and microwave are also provided. There is one family bathroom with a bath and shower, plus two additional WCs for extra convenience. After a day of walking or exploring the surrounding hills, there’s direct access into the garage! ideal for muddy boots and outdoor gear, along with a washing machine and WC for cleaning up after countryside adventures. Outside, you’ll find a patio seating area at the back of the cottage, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Steps lead up to the garden where you can take in open countryside views and the fresh Peak District air :) the perfect spot to unwind after a day outdoors. 🌿☀️ Other things to note Daisy Bank Cottage is located within a short drive of fantastic Peak District locations including in the Hope Valley, Edale, Winnats Pass and the caves of Castleton. The Goyt Valley and Chrome/Parkhouse hills are also close by. There’s plenty nearby to keep families entertained. The scenic Monsal Trail and Hassop Station are perfect for easy walks and bike rides, while little explorers will love the caves at Castleton Caves. Nearby towns like Bakewell and Buxton offer cafés, pools and traditional treats, and family days out at Peak Wildlife Park or Thornbridge Hall Gardens are all within easy reach. Chapel-en-le-frith around 1 mile away has 2 supermarkets, post office, chemists, pubs restaurants
